Started out as co-workers, grew into friends, and evolved as business partners, Shawna and Rachelle founded PommePêche together in 2021. After several years of working in Corporate America, they became inspired to leverage their marketing and public relations expertise to support small businesses. Like all of their clients, Shawna and Rachelle are entrepreneurs that possess the passion and drive to help propel their business forward as PommePêche continues to grow.
President of Marketing
Rachelle brings 10+ years of marketing expertise, an unmatched work ethic, and a portfolio of proven results. Rachelle holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and rich experience across various industry leaders. Specializing in Digital Marketing and Business Analytics, Rachelle brings a fresh perspective and strategic solution to every business challenge.
President of Public Relations
Growing up in Atlanta, the birthplace of Civil Rights and southern hospitality, helped Shawna to learn the importance of nurturing relationships at an early age and how to become a "Jill of all trades." Shawna has 17+ years of experience in the marketing, communications, and PR fields and has worked for some of the top fortune 500 companies, such as Amazon and Marriott International along with global companies such as Oxford University Press. It has always been on Shawna's heart to help others cultivate their ideas into something more than just a dream. She holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor's degree in Communications & PR. Shawna specializes in PR & Communication Strategy, brand storytelling, and strategic planning that will ultimately drive business growth.
Public Relations Manager
Innovative but efficient. Creative but cohesive. Direct but approachable are just a few words to describe her. Martie Bowser joins PommePêche with over 9 years of experience in the areas of public and media relations, branding, and curation.
Martie has a great talent for being able to find unique niches for her clients that allow them to maximize their audience. Her ability to foster and nurture relationships across a variety of sectors has aided her in her ability to help clients from a number of industries. Her personable approach mixed with abstract strategies and tactful execution has helped her clients gain exposure that sticks with their brands for a duration of time.
As the owner of her own PR firm, Martie's reputation was built in the entertainment and music industry. Cutting her public relations teeth working with Atlanta-based label TIG/YFN during SXSW and A3C Music Festivals, she was able to create a network that served indie and mainstream artists.
Martie has extended her services from music PR to working with television, film, restaurant enterprises, public figures, and more. She has had the pleasure of working with or in conjunction with brands such as BET, MTV, Live Nation Urban, OWN Network, TV One, Playboy, Birkdale School of Music, and so many more.
Martie believes that our job as PR professionals is to tell your story. "There is no cookie-cutter way to “get things done” but her goal is always to shed light on the individuals she works with.
Digital Marketing Coordinator
Taylor Brown is a St. Louis native, with a BA in Fashion Communications and emphasis on Small Business Management. Since graduating from Stephens College in 2016, Taylor has worked in the fashion, retail, and property management industries focusing on PR, social media, and marketing. With 7 years of experience, Taylor looks forward to working with mission minded businesses, while also elevating the advancement for minority businesses.
